Cosyn has been the pioneer in managing and executing large scale e-governance projects in India. e-Governance is all about creating a comfortable, transparent, and cheap interaction between government and citizens (G2C – government to citizens), government and business enterprises (G2B –government to business enterprises) and relationship between governments (G2G – inter-agency relationship) and we at Cosyn, ensure of creating the comfortable, transparent and economical interaction.
There are four domains of e-government namely, governance, information and communication technology (ICT), business process re-engineering (BPR) and e-citizen.
Within each of these interaction domains, three kinds of activities take place
Pushing information over the Internet,: regulatory services, general holidays, public hearing schedules, issue briefs, notifications, etc
Two-way communications between the agency and the citizen. here, users can engage in dialogue with agencies and post comments, or requests to the agency
Conducting transactions, e.g.: lodging tax returns, applying for services and grants Governance, e.g.: online polling, voting, and campaigning
Cosyn has a successful history of training multiple software consultants and getting them certified on multiple software tools. It currently has an in-house team of professionals’ proficient in Microsoft, Java, Oracle and multiple other technologies. Cosyn currently develops its own software for delivering services or customizes its current suite of software to carry out the project work as required.
This expertise of Coysn has always helped us stand tall in the market.
Why is it required
Data Migration is the process of transferring data between storage types, formats, or computer systems. Data migration is usually performed programmatically to achieve an automated migration, freeing up human resources from tedious tasks. It is required when organizations or individuals change computer systems or upgrade to new systems, or when systems merge.
Citizen database migration relates to changing over of old database information to newer formats or schemas. This would also include manual to electronic form conversion for legacy data.
How do we achieve effective Data migration
To achieve an effective data migration procedure, data on the old system is mapped to the new system providing a design for data extraction and data loading. The design relates old data formats to the new system’s formats and requirements. Programmatic data migration may involve many phases but it minimally includes data extraction where data is read from the old system and data loading where data is written to the new system.
After loading into the new system, results are subjected to data verification to determine whether data was accurately translated, is complete, and supports processes in the new system. During verification, there may be a need for a parallel run of both systems to identify areas of disparity and forestall erroneous data loss.
Automated and manual data cleaning is commonly performed in migration to improve data quality, eliminate redundant or obsolete information, and match the requirements of the new system.
Cosyn has always been successful in addressing the large volume and enterprise data migration. Some of the client issues like application downtime, data theft, etc. are completely taken care of by Cosyn
Data capture is a kind of data input in which there is no data entry. Instead, data is collected in conjunction with a separate activity.
How Cosyn can help
We have an expert staff and up-to-date technologies to process content at high volumes and at highly reliable rate of accuracy. This enables clients to see instant turnaround time. We have an in-house designed system composed of a mix of leading commercial and proprietary tools, technologies and processes to produce the highest possible levels of textual accuracy. After files have passed through the text-voting engines, our custom-built OCR editors use our proprietary editing software to edit the files and improve the captured text’s accuracy up to the expected levels.
Solutions that count
Different formats of Data capture include Optical Character Recognition, Optical Mark Reader, Bar code scan and many more. Cosyn has customized solutions for each of the above formats which enable rapid data capture in a reliable form.
Remote Services Delivery
A combination of flexible services delivery models can reduce various challenges associated with monitoring and managing infrastructure, while delivering value and efficiency at an affordable cost. The challenges increase when the projects have multi-location, multi-platform, multi-vendor environment working on a continuous basis. This challenge becomes formidable when translated to the business expectations of the internal end-user IT customer in the form of a Service Level Agreement (‘SLA’).
Cosyn with its years of experience in Remote Services Delivery and ‘Over the Web services’ can effectively bridge this requirement for its clients. This includes Remote Desktop Management, OS troubleshooting, Network Monitoring, Server Monitoring and Remote Security Services.
A “live biometric capture” refers to a device that obtains biometric information immediately, typically in a digital format, ready for comparison to a database.
Some successful projects
A fingerprint capture device that electronically captures fingerprint images using a sensor (rather than scanning ink-based fingerprint images from a card, or attempting to scan images lifted from a surface)
An iris or retinal scanner that immediately provides appropriate information for database comparison
Cosyn has been at the fore-front of Biometric capture project implementation and boasts of large number of successful implementations to its credit.
Citizen portals provide a cost-efficient, easy-to-use solution for addressing a variety of citizen services. Citizens can find information and pay for services, fees, and even fines from the comfort of their home or workplace. For governments, automated services reduce strain on budget and resources, freeing staff to focus on more important issues. Almost any citizen interaction can be moved online.
Citizen portals can help citizens
Citizen portals can also provide quick access—online or through strategically placed kiosks—to government information, including
Data mining is the process of extracting patterns from data. Data mining is seen as an increasingly important tool by modern business to transform data into an informational advantage. It is currently used in a wide range of profiling practices, such as marketing, surveillance, fraud detection and scientific discovery. A primary reason for using data mining is to assist in the analysis of collections of observations of behavior.
How we help
At Cosyn, sophisticated methods are used to optimize resources across awareness campaigns so that one may predict which channel and which offer an individual is most likely to respond to — across all potential modes of communication.
Cosyn over years of extensive expertise and experience in data mining has been successful in providing quality data mining services. With an expert, focussed, and detail oriented statistics and data analysis team we tend to give you game changing information out of your data
A smart card, chip card, or integrated circuit card (ICC), is any pocket-sized card with embedded integrated circuits. There are two broad categories of ICCs. Memory cards contain only non-volatile memory storage components, and perhaps dedicated security logic. Microprocessor cards contain volatile memory and microprocessor components. The card is made of plastic, generally polyvinyl chloride, but sometimes acrylonitrile butadiene styrene or polycarbonate . Smart cards may also provide strong security authentication for single sign-on within large organizations. Smart cards can provide identification, authentication, data storage and application processing.
Cosyn has the capability to deploy the use of smart cards in large scale e-Governance projects. It can then deploy the resources to facilitate the use of the cards for delivering a service as envisaged.
